Build Your Very Own Stand Up Paddle Board (SUB)
Attend a one-week class and learn how to build you own SUB April 20 thru 27, 2012.
Stand up paddlesurfing combines paddle sports and surfing in a single unique watercraft. Using a long canoe-type paddle and a longer, wider surfboard, a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUB) is the ultimate Great Lakes watercraft.
Stand up paddlesurfing gives the paddler excellent visibility on the water and a full body workout. SUBs can be paddled in any condition from glassy calm water to barreling shore breakers. And, they are as much fun build as they are to paddle.
In this one-week workshop you will participate in each step of building a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUB) and Paddle.
The class cost $85.00 per person, and will meet in Traverse City’s central neighborhood:
- 4 hours on Friday evening, April 20
- 4 hours on Saturday afternoon, April 21
- 4 hours on Sunday afternoon, April 22
- 4 hours on each evening, Monday through Friday April 23 - 27
